I haven't done this in a while. But since I actually saw a majority of the nominees this year, I'm going to try my hand once more. So let’s see if one film appreciation class, a year of playwriting classes, ten years or better of watching the Oscar ceremonies, and an ungodly amount of money spent on watching a good chunk of these films pays off ( Read more... )

One of the goals I had set for myself for 2009 was to watch all the movies nominated in the major Oscar categories before the awards ceremony. It's a high goal, considering I live in Maine and some tiny movies never make it past Boston.
